Devin S. Norris is a Composer/Pianist based in Los Angeles.

      Devin is a Los Angeles based composer, and composed the theme song for NBC News Boston, and the Main Title for Vice's The Dark Side of Football. He also composed 2 original custom songs for Blumhouse production's horror movie M3GAN, the main title for the movie Incoming (Netflix), as well as creating creating original songs and arrangements for shows such as XO Kitty (Netflix), Lincoln Lawyer (Netflix), Angelyne (Peacock), Wolfpack (Paramount+), Kenan(NBC), Love in Taipei (Paramount+), and Brand New Cherry (Netflix). He has also composed music for advertisements such as  T-moble's 2022 Superbowl Commercial, and for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, NBC News, Microsoft, Salvation Army, MyQ, Novartis, ViaRae, Prudential, Orencia, and AARP. Devin worked as a lead composer for the Emmy winning A&E TV show Born This Way's second(2016) and third(2017) seasons, and TLC's The Healer(2017). His music has also been used in shows such as Euphoria(HBO), The Penguin (HBO), The Resident (FOX), Yellowjackets (Showtime), And Just Like That (HBO)  Queens(ABC), The Twilight Zone(CBS), and has written music as a contributing composer for Disney +'s The Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Overall, his music has been used on over 900 different TV shows and over 3,500 episodes.

      Devin founded and operates the publishing company Yellotone Music, which represents artists and creates custom music for sync opportunities. Featured placements from the company include  Amazon Fashion, XO Kitty(Netflix), Chicago Fire(NBC), Rap Sh!t(HBO), Daybreak(Netflix), Kung Fu(CW), Nancy Drew(CW), The 12 Dates of Christmas(HBOMax), and The Christmas Doctor(Hallmark).

 

      He has composed string arrangements for Grammy winning artist Faith Evans’  album, Incomparable, in which tracks from the album were nominated for a Grammy for best R&B performance.  He has also done orchestration and arranging work for multi Grammy nominated artist Ledisi. He's also composed string arrangements for The Common Kings, Clinton Sparks, Benny Briggs, and Asleep at the Gate.

Devin forms one half of the Lo-Fi jazz duo dv/sn with producer Tai Fronzaroli, which has amassed over 2 million plays on Spotify and Apple Music since their debut single in April 2020. Devin also has a tiktok account with over 150,000 followers under handle devinsnorris.

 

     Devin appeared on television show Jane the Virgin, playing piano in the band of David Bisbal, and the Halmark Channel's Home&Family playing piano in the Big Band of Donny Most. He has played in numerous bands and showcases across the world.

             

        In Contemporary Jazz, Devin won the 2013 Angel City Young Artist Competition as a co-leader and composer, which culminated in a performance at the Angel City Jazz Festival at Los Angeles County Museum of the Arts (LACMA). 

 

      When not playing or composing music, Devin is an avid fan of baseball (in particular the Dodgers) and loves spending time his wife Satya, daughter Harper, and border collie Rosie.
